Description:
¡¡¡¡Mordenite is aluminosilicate zeolite with bidirectional channel which is defined by 12-member rings. Besides 4, 6, 8-member rings, in its frameworks 5-member rings take the most part. Moreover, Mordenite has high catalytic activity, and it also has a even high acid resistance and thermal stability, resulting in its high Si/Al molar ratio.
Application:
¡¡¡¡Mordenite could be appropriately applied in deep drying of acid substance, such as hydrogen chloride, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine, chloromethane, bromine gas, bromomethane, sulfur dioxide etc. Also, it could also be expanded to dehumidifying of pyrolysis gas, air, organic solvent and so on. Acting as a carrier of catalyst active components in the hydrocarbon conversion process is another application of Mordenite.
